County Waterford, Ireland

On the banks of the River Dawn and fringing Waterford Greenway at Cullenagh Stables, The Farm Gallery hosts art workshops and social farming events throughout the year.
Surrounding the gallery are walking trails that wind through fields and woodland before wrapping around an old quarry that shadows the riverbank.
An exhibition curated by members of the former Waterford Art Group was the inspiration behind the gallery’s revival in 2025.

- The Reverie Tree Workshop is an invitation to explore words and images, follow the journeys they take us on and recognise the freedom that art gifts us to play with and interpret story. This journey will be explored through life story work and collage making. The workshop is suited to individuals and groups.
- Art on the Farm groups are suited to children between the ages of six and sixteen. Sessions take place over two hours once a week during school holidays and term breaks. Weekly individual sessions are also available.
- Social Farming participants generally attend once a week for a six week block. These groups spend a morning or day at the farm. Sessions are facilitated in partnership with Social Farming Ireland.
What is Social Farming?
Social Farming Programmes are designed, structured and tailored to meet the participant’s goals and needs.
They involve the active and regular engagement with a range of meaningful nature-inspired activities delivered to create a sense of achievement, personal responsibility and self-confidence.
The farm provides participants with opportunities to learn new skills and engage creatively, while promoting feelings of inclusion and belonging.
Sessions can include grooming the horses and ponies, exploring the woodland and trails, creating farm-inspired art, feeding the animals as well as undertaking regular farm activities.
In the provision of social farming, we work collaboratively with Social Farming Ireland and with families and service providers across the South East.
What is Art on the Farm?
Throughout the year at Cullenagh Stables, groups of budding artists come together to create art from finds on the farm and trails.
These finds include pinecones, feathers, flowers and pebbles to name but a few treasures!
Sessions takes place during the summer holidays and also during term breaks.
Groups are inclusive and welcoming of children between the ages of six and sixteen.
Numbers are kept small in order to focus on the goals and needs of each participant.
Individual sessions are also available.
What is The Reverie Tree?
The Reverie Tree is an invitation to reflect on how we are all collectors of stories waiting to be told, to be seen.
Sometimes the story we begin with may be very different to the finished piece. This is the beauty of creating. It takes us on endless adventures, and allows us to explore our unique life journeys.
Individual and group workshops are suited to children, adults, parents, carers and life explorers.
We will interpret, create and share stories through words and art.
All tools and equipment are provided.
Workshops are facilitated by Éabha Róis.
