Éabha Róis, Visual Artist

I strongly believe that creating art is a therapeutic process that enables people to problem solve and find joy on the journey to greater self-knowledge and inner contentment.
Before creating my own studio, I worked in hospitals and community settings and developed and delivered ‘healing through creativity’ programmes to individuals and groups.
I followed my creative journey home to Cullenagh Stables, where I developed a social farm that provides services to adults and children with additional needs. Here, I developed art-based nature camps, social farming projects and ‘art on the farm’ groups.
As an artist, I love to work with nature and the natural environment to both create art, and, in rewilding the farm, to work creatively with its fragile and beautiful ecosystem.
